Strategic Mobilization Ghana Limited (SML) on Friday called for a fact-based national discussion on its operations, following President John Mahama’s order to terminate all its contracts after an investigation by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).

In a statement, the company said it would cooperate fully with all lawful review processes and provide relevant documents to authorities.

The firm dismissed suggestions of political ownership, insisting it is a wholly Ghanaian-owned private company.

“We remain proud of the work done, the controls that governed it, and the measurable value created for Ghana,” SML’s Lead Counsel said.

“Fairness, transparency, and evidence must guide the national conversation,” its Chief Executive Officer added.

SML said its engagement with the Ghana Revenue Authority was designed to strengthen revenue mobilization through transaction audits and monitoring in the petroleum and minerals sectors, with some operations pending regulatory approval.

The company stated that its systems had improved transparency and reduced revenue leakages, urging that “facts, not rhetoric,” shape Ghana’s debate on revenue accountability.
